“What does being human mean to you?” This question is posed to the pedestrians of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in a collaborative photo project between myself and fellow artist Eduard Torres. The interviews are accompanied by other interchangeable questions like “What’s a memory in your life you wished you could relive?” or “What are you most afraid of right now?” This project aimed to humanize the faces you walk past in the city by engaging people through questions and portraits.
